About us
Avast is an oceanic World of Warcraft guild, playing on the Frostmourne-US server. Originally a 25-man team from previous expansions, Avast has now become a 10-man raiding team for Cataclysm. Our guild is home to many friends and family.
Raiding team:
Schedule
We raid 4 nights a week: Wednesday, Thursday, Monday and Sunday. Raid times are 7pm to 12am at the longest. Our raid times become more relaxed once all available content is completed, or when we feel more raid hours are no longer beneficial.
Our timezone is AEST UTC+10 (we also follow Daylight Savings). This is the same timezone the Frostmourne server uses.
Raiding style
We are progression oriented raiders. We have a small group of 11 to 12 experienced players, and we do not want to over recruit. Everyone wants to be there for the first wipes and first kills! Subbing is not fun. Therefore we are unlikely to take on new recruits unless they are of exceptional quality, or if we need a particular class or role.
